This session will focus on preventing playground injuries. Discussion will include hazards that exist on playgrounds that often go unnoticed; current safety standards that cover both old and new playgrounds; how the ADA applies to playgrounds; playground signage; when to take equipment out of service; what documents should be in kept in the playground file and more.
