Permit Required Confined Space Entry

This program is designed to provide attendees with an understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s requirements for the management and entry into permit-required confined spaces.  We will be discussing both the general industry and construction requirements and the employer’s duties under the regulations.

Topics will include:

• Definitions and requirements for confined spaces and permit-required confined spaces.
• Employer requirements for inventorying and communicating hazards.
• Permit systems.
• Equipment necessary for entries.
• Rescue services.
• Training requirements.
• Hands-on entry practice into a space.
