Conducting Safety and Health Audits

This program is designed to provide attendees with the necessary tools and knowledge to conduct audits of their workplace and identify safety and health hazards. A checklist covering many basic OSHA compliance requirements will be provided.  Topics will include:

  • How to conduct an audit
  • How to document results
  • Following-up on findings

Who should attend? This workshop is ideal for supervisors, managers, safety staff, and other personnel who have safety responsibilities.

Instructor: Michael Needham, CSP, CSC, CFPS, CIT, CHMP
Michael is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, a Certified Safety Professional, Certified Fire Protection Specialist, a New York State Department of Labor Certified Safety Consultant and a Certified Hazardous Materials Practitioner. Michael has over 30 years of experience in managing safety and industrial hygiene in the public sector and heavy industry.
