Respiratory Protection

Respiratory diseases caused by industrial contaminants are a leading cause of death for employees. This session will review respiratory hazards, control measures, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s requirements for employees who are required to wear respirators as well as those who wear them on a voluntary basis. The course will cover components of required written programs, medical clearance, fit testing, and emergency procedures.
